ดร. มาร์โก และเค็นมาส่งเราที่ แลงลี่ย์ โดยเราต้องข้ามเรือเฟอรี่ มาขึ้นฝั่งที่แลงลี่ย์ แคนาดา พวกเราตื่นเต้นกับความสวยงามของภูมิทัศน์ของเมือง จากนั้นพวกเราก็ไปถึงที่โรงแรมคาสเคต ทุกคนได้พบโฮสต์ใหม่ และก็ได้เตรียมการแนะนำตัว หลังจากรับประทานอาหารเย็น พวกเราก็แยกย้ายกลับไปบ้านของโฮสต์

วันรุ่งขึ้นพวกเราก็แยกย้ายกันไปตามที่ต่างๆ ตามความสนใจของแต่ละคน คุณหมอสงวนและพี่แจนไปโรงพยาบาลตามระเบียบ ไมตรีไปฟาร์มไก่ และสถานอนุบาลต้นกล้า แหม่มไปโกลเดน แวลลีย์ ซึ่งเป็นผู้ผลิตแยม เจลลี ซอสซัลซา และไข่ไก่ ศนิไปเยี่ยมชั้นเรียนวิชาภาษาและวรรณคดีอังกฤษ ที่โรงเรียนมัธยม Walnut Grove Secondary School

ข้ามชายแดนไปคานาดา

วันอาทิตย์ที่เจ็ด พฤษภาคม พวกเราตื่นแต่เช้า มาทานอาหารและเก็บกระเป๋า พอสิบโมงครึ่ง ดร. มาร์โก พร้อมทั้ง คุณเค็นก็มาพบเราที่ล็อบบี้ แต่ที่เซอร์ไพรส์ที่สุดก็คือ แจ๊คดี้และครอบครัวก็เดินทางต้อนรับคณะของเราด้วย พี่แจนกลั้นน้ำตาไว้ไม่อยู่ ร้องไห้แสดงความดีใจที่ได้เจอแจ็คกี้อีก จากนั้นพวกเราทั้งหมดก็เข้าไปกินอาหารที่ร้านของโรงแรม หลังจากนั้นเราก็เดินทางออกจาก ซามิอามู รีสอร์ท เพื่อเข้าไปยังประเทศแคนาดา ก่อนเดินทางเข้าเรามีโอกาสหยุดแวะที่ร้านสินค้าปลอดภาษี พบว่าของหลายๆ อย่างถูกมาก โดยเฉพาะ นาฬิกา หลังจากผ่านตม. ของแคนาดา เค็นผู้ใจดีก์ได้นำเราไปส่งที่บ้านพักของแต่ละคน พอตอนเย็นโฮสท์ก็พาเรามาที่บ้าน ดร. มาร์โก และ คุณไลลา เพื่อรับประทานอาหาร ที่ทำให้พวกเรามีความสุขทัี่สุดในวันนั้นก็คือ อาหารมื้อนี้เป็นอาหารไทยที่พวกเราคิดถึงกันหนักหนา มีทั้งขนมจีน แกงเขียวหวานไก่ ไก่สะเต๊ะ หมูกระเทียมพริกไทย ปลาแซมอนสามรส ผัดผักรวมมิตร ไก่ผัดเม็ดมะม่วง แล้วตบท้ายด้วยผลไม้ และไอศกรีมฮาเก็นดาส อภินันทนาการจาก คุณหมอสงวน ไม่ต้องสงสัยเลยว่าอาหารมื้อนั้นอร่อยแค่ไหน เพราะในขณะที่เขียนนี้เราก็ยังน้ำลายสอเลย หลังจากทักทายทำความรู้จักกับทุกคน พวกเราก็แยกย้ายกันกลับบ้าน ด้วยท้องที่อิ่ม และจิตใจที่เบิกบาน เอิงเอย...

ตอนนี้หัวหน้าคณะกะเหรื่ยง จี เอส อี จากเมืองไทย และคณะ ได้มาถึง ซามีอามู รีสอร์ท แดนสววรค์ ที่ตั้งอยู่ชายแดนสหรัฐอเมริกา และแคนาดา กำลังรอการส่งตัวไปประเทศแคนาดาในอีกไม่กี่ชั่วโมงข้างหน้า

First Rotary Club Visit at Everett

President Lyle Ryan gave welcome address to GSE D3330 from Thailand. There is approximately a hundred of Rotarians including Interacts and guests attended the club assembly meeting. All the directors of 4 avenues of Service were on the stage with President and reporting their activities in the past month to the attendant. There is also small singing recital from one rotarian who is a GSE team leader to Mexico and a routine happy dollar speaking donation. Every GSEs had had Rotary caps , club banners and small presents back after banner exchange with him.

Welcome party at DG.Harv Jubie's home

Sunset at DG.Harv's lovely house with hosts of GSEs and our team. His generosity and frienliness including the hosts' hospitality is much more than I could describe. We have a fabulous party with host family members and riding with DG.Jubie in a red Ford Model T!

Tour at Boeing aeroplane building

You can see the painting of Boeing 787, Dreamliner along the doors to the Boeing plant. This plant is approximately 1 km. long. Each door is 130 metres wide. It is unbelievable that human being could build something that heavy like steel but can float in the air!

Touched down in Seattle

Finally, we touched down on USA land, Seattle, Tacoma airport. The
first things we got from our kind hosts are several gorgeous bouquets
for everyone, very impressive moment!
Jackie, D 5050 GSE chair , Maria, GSE 5050 who just visited
Thailand, and my host Larry Trivette from Maryville had greeted us at
Tacoma airport.
At the US Immigration desks, all of us except Ratchada ( Mummy ) had
passed without difficulty. However, according to the Homeland Guard
Division, they picked up one member from our team for interview about
the purpose to come to USA. Even they know that we are GSE and had
VISA granted from US Embassy in Bangkok, they still re-interview us
about what is GSE and Rotary International. We do all understand the
circumstance after 9/11 attack, USA has had to stress on more
security measure.This cause nearly 1 hour delay before we checked out
from the airport.
But we finally are on USA land! Hello USA.
